You know when life feels off. You may feel stuck, unfulfilled, hopeless, or numb. Your internal alarm system is sending a message:

"My needs are not being met."

"This is not how I expected life to be."

"My efforts are going nowhere."

I trust my clients to know themselves. We foster self-trust, or an ability to rely on your own intuition. We bring awareness to emotions and interpret the message your body is trying to tell you. We address unmet needs of safety, acceptance, connection, and purpose. We name boundary violations and how to communicate our needs in a way that others can hear us. We identify ambiguity during a tough decision, and develop capability to move forward confidently.

I have worked as a school counselor for 4 years and a preschool teacher for 2, so I feel capable working with my young clients as well. ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavior, and socioemotional concerns are amongst many areas I am comfortable addressing with my young clients and their families. I offer tools and support to parents and guardians, so that young clients can thrive in a collaborative, safe environment.

Cultural issues, faith-based treatment, social issues, and relationship issues are topics I am comfortable addressing. I have an eclectic approach, using DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Theory, and others, to set therapy goals. We practice patience, self-compassion and trust the process. I look forward to our partnership!
